By the time this gets posted it will already be May 8. Earlier in the week the celebration of Cinco de Mayo took place throughout Latino and Spanish speaking communities. Here in San Francisco it’s a tradition to go out for good Mexican food and music all while being bombarded by Corona marketing promos.
Have you been thinking about ways to work with advertisers and publishers serving a Spanish speaking audience online? There are a number of networks emerging to ... Keep Reading

April was a very busy month. Depending on what events you attended there’s a good chance you were living out of suit case to keep up with last month’s conference and trade show circuit. I admit I was fortunate not have to spend any time in an airport this month as San Francisco played host to both Ad:Tech and the Web 2.0 Expo.
Nearly everyone I talked over the past two weeks while exhibiting at the shows and making the ... Keep Reading

There is a lot of enthusiastic talk about online video blogs going around this week.
I’m embarrassed to say that I’m not sophisticated enough to produce a video blog on my own at this point in time, but I’m still honing the craft in text before jumping in with the rich media crowd. And if your video site is driving traffic I’m sure the advertising and sponsorship opportunities will soon follow.
In between the first week of March Madness I was ... Keep Reading

We are back from the Affiliate Summit and it’s taking me a days to recuperate from the round the clock engagement of the event in Las Vegas last week. It was another fantastic conference put together by co-founders Shawn Collins and Missy Ward.
We enjoyed everyone who dropped by our Revenue booth to catch up and learn more about the magazine. We are busy working on many new things to enhance both the magazine and website and we appreciate your ... Keep Reading

Did you check out the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk contest in New Orleans this past weekend? Many find this annual event to be a great source of entertainment and creative inspiration. This year Superman made an appearance flying through the air for the winning dunk, while the runner up demonstrated the “birthday cake” dunk while blowing out a candle on a cupcake that was perched on the rim. It was incredible.
Are you looking for a slam dunk? Then why ... Keep Reading

It’s the last week of January and the Super Bowl XLII kick-off is only a couple days away. Whether or not you have a vested interest in the Patriots clearing their last hurdle to complete the undefeated season or are jumping on the Giants bandwagon is not the point.
The most important thing is that you not only watch the game which is expected to be the largest viewing audience in Super Bowl history - 140 million - but that ... Keep Reading
