Revenue Magazine Boasts Steady Growth and Declares Increased FrequencySan Francisco, October 11, 2005 - Revenue Magazine, which launched in January 2004 as a quarterly publication, is making the transition to a bimonthly magazine beginning January 2006. Revenue, the premium knowledge resource for the performance marketing community, is responding to industry growth and customer demand by increasing frequency, according to Montgomery Media International. Since Revenue launched, Google has gone public, LinkShare Corporation was recently acquired for $425 Million, online ad revenues are surging and new business models are constantly being developed. In this arena of rapid growth and demand, Revenue is riding the wave of performance marketing. The magazine is in the trenches with its audience addressing the latest online issues ranging from spyware, online travel, gambling, sex and drugs to global initiatives and what the affiliates and networks need to know. Revenue was one of the pioneer magazines to offer a digital version of its publication, which the international audience was clamoring for in their quest for here-and-now information. Revenue also reaches out to its audience on a monthly basis with an online newsletter including fresh content and affiliate tips. With 2005 seeing a surge in increased advertising, subscribers and Web traffic, Revenue recognized this was the perfect opportunity to increase from four to six issues a year. "Having been a leader in the performance-based marketing space for almost a decade, LinkShare is pleased to see a publication like Revenue magazine grow and add increased coverage of this exciting industry," says Heidi S. Messer, president and chief operating officer of LinkShare Corporation. "Affiliates and merchants benefit from quality and up-to-date coverage of this rapidly evolving sector of the Internet economy." "We've responded to the excitement in the industry and the tremendous demand from affiliates, merchants and advertisers for more Revenue," said Nick Smith, publisher of Revenue. "Starting in January 2006 the magazine will be available with increased frequency and more timely information." Revenue's distribution schedule in 2006 will be January, March, May, July, September and November. Revenue explores the strategies, technologies, designs and best practices that help affiliates and merchants achieve success in performance marketing, a fast-growing area of e-commerce in which independent Web publishers, usually operating as small businesses, generate commissions by introducing consumers to the sites of larger merchants. Revenue is available through major book and magazine dealers. It is also sold through subscriptions, including those offered through the magazine's own affiliate marketing program www.revenuetoday.com.
