Welcome to 2008! We hope you found time during the holidays for some R&R and are excited about what lies ahead. It seems like the new year is off to a flying start and now that the annual SF local Maverick’s big wave surf contest is out of the way let’s get right down to the latest news related to your 2008 media plans and upcoming advertising opportunities here at Revenue.

Starting in February we will be increasing the frequency of our email newsletter, which means more new content for our readers and new banner placements for our advertisers. Be sure to check back here in the next couple weeks as I will have additional updates on the newsletter production schedule, launch dates and ad placement availability. Our 2008 kick-off newsletter is scheduled to launch this week on January 17. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter today so you don’t miss out.

Over on the magazine side we are currently working on the upcoming March/April spring edition. This is consistently one of our biggest issues of the year and we have some great premium ad placements available.

Are you thinking of going big with something like a two-page spread? Would you prefer the back cover? Regardless of your positioning an ad placement in the March/April issue will put your company front and center with our audience that includes industry leading events such as: Ad:Tech San Francisco; Search Engine Strategies New York; and the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco.

Now is the time to contact our advertising team to request a copy of our 2008 Media Kit and discuss upcoming ad placement availability. Ad closing deadline is coming up on February 1.

For those who crave data analytics and would like to know a little more about the demographics of the Revenue audience, here are some bullet points from a recent survey of our readers:

*86 percent are involved with interactive marketing for their company on a day-to-day basis

*82 percent recommend, purchase or approve interactive marketing solutions

*50 percent are C-level and VP executives
