September Kick Off

I trust you enjoyed the Labor Day holiday and are ready to get to what promises to be an exciting month. And I’m not just talking about this week’s kick-off to the 2007 football season.

We launched our September newsletter yesterday with news and updates about the next edition (November/December 2007) of Revenue; along with a column on how to promote niche merchants effectively by Jamie Birch, director of affiliate relations at Converseon; and Stuart McKelvey, CEO of TMP Directional Marketing is this month’s guest for the 5 Questions; along with the Ask Jim Kukral column. There’s another new and exciting development in the world of publishing here at Revenue. We are currently partnering with our parent company Montgomery Research Inc. on a major thought leadership project - entitled Performance Marketing for the Enterprise.

The inspiration for the PME project evolved out demand and feedback from the Revenue readers, advertisers and editorial partners. Over the last couple of years you indicated the growing need for a report that focused on educating C-level and senior marketing executives within the Fortune 2000 on how to incorporate the best practices of Internet performance marketing into their overall marketing strategy.

The report, due to be published in early 2008, will come together in the form of a bound publication and website that will feature company profiles, white papers, case studies and interviews with industry analysts, consultants, academics and solution providers.
