Building Efficiency and Fun Into the Future of Business Software
“How can we most productively – and profitably – spend our day?”
Entellium products offer sales teams an answer to that critical question.
The Seattle-based company develops on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) software designed to help sales organizations sell more effectively. What does that mean? In short, Entellium software helps sales teams balance the everyday needs of sales professionals with the reporting and forecasting needs of management. For example, by automating boring, time-consuming tasks, Entellium software frees sales teams to trawl for new customers and forge closer bonds with old.
RAVE AND GID
Rave is the newest – and most revolutionary – member of Entellium’s family of CRM products. Rave offers a visually rich user interface and a “smart client” feature that lets users work both online and off-line. The result – sales reps can access important data anytime, anywhere – for example, on a plane, at an airport or in a coffee shop – and not just when an Internet connection is available.
A key part of Rave’s success is GID – Gamer Influenced Design™. Developed by Entellium, GID is a concept that packs many of video games’ most compelling features into today’s business software. The result – business software that is interactive, intuitive, boldly designed – and fun (especially fun).
“No reason exists why today’s business software can’t generate the kind of passion and loyalty that best-selling video games do,” said Paul Johnston, Entellium CEO. “It simply requires that we think differently about business software design.”
ENTELLIUM VS. THE COMPETITION
Entellium has competed successfully against all CRM providers in the SMB space. As evidence, the company can cite numerous awards and honors, including:
- A coveted “leader” ranking from Forrester Research in the categories of both Salesforce Automation (SFA) and Customer Service Management.
- CRM Magazine’s 2004, 2005 and 2006 Market Leader Award for SFA.
- The 2006 Rising Star Award from CRM Magazine for efforts to gain market share and/or raise industry awareness.
LOOKING BACK
Johnston founded Entellium in May 2000. A former Apple Computer sales exec with a history of leadership in usability and work flow, he sought to develop software products that answered a significant need among small and midsize businesses for affordable, user-friendly, hosted CRM applications.
After conducting thousands of hours of usability research – and soliciting feedback from hundreds of frustrated salespeople – Entellium began to build software tools that addressed a sales team’s needs from a 360- degree perspective. Today these tools offer frontline sales reps a simple, intuitive navigational experience; liberate sales reps from administrative busywork; and give managers complete visibility into the progress of each sales rep and their pipeline.
Entellium is a global software company that develops on-demand Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for small and midsize businesses.
