I’ve spent much of the week at Web 2.0 Expo. Man, the show was good and very well attended. It was also super well organized. And the Blogtropul.us (a room for bloggers) was hopping with people streaming live, blogging, doing video and writing up real time accounts from the show. There was even yoga happening in there.

It’s not even 8am and I have already had two major computer crashes and been locked out of my house this morning.
I am working from home today and left the house in huff (after all the computer issues) to walk the dog. I was a little late in taking the dog out (again, those dang computer problems) and grabbed her leash, the recycling, and some biodegradable doggie bags and ran out the door.

Yesterday was my birthday and for weeks I was totally dreading it. Recently my personal life has been turned upside down. The thought of celebrating yet another year just didn’t feel right (or even possible) given that it’s been difficult to muster up a smile most days.

I nearly forgot about blogging all week. I’d love to blame it on this huge deadline I’ve been facing, but I think it might be more about all the time I’ve been spending on Twitter and Facebook. I’m constantly sending and receiving information via both of those applications - as well as IM and email - so I’ve felt like I’ve already communicated most of my thoughts for the week (well, at least those that are PG or work-related).
