While I was lunching on leftover turkey, playing too much Wii, checking out the latest movies and taking a couple of days off, online marketers were hard at work. It’s crunch time for affiliates dealing with Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
I’m waiting to see some numbers from market researchers to post some results from both. Judging from anecdotal information coming affiliates on Twitters and other social networking sources, it looks like sales went well but not gangbusters. It also appears there were serious issues with merchants and networks overriding affiliate IDs, which is not acceptable.
