Revenue is pleased to be nominated for a 2008 LinkShare Golden Link Award for the Performance Marketing’s Most Vocal Advocate. This is the same category we were nominated in last year, but lost to the fabulous Kellie Stevens of AffiliateFairPlay.com.
This year’s competition is also very stiff as we face off against super affiliate Scott Jangro of MechMedia and InternetGeekGirl Stephanie Agresta. I’ll be thrilled no matter who wins (ok, I seriously don’t want to be a two-time loser). Actually, I really want to take the stage just to be able to say “Sorry, Jangro.”
There are lots of great nominees in a variety of other categories including Innovative Publisher of the Year (Buzzillions.com, SeenON.com and ToldYa) and Innovative Advertiser of the Year (Beatport, Office Depot and Walmart.com).

The awards are only two weeks away and I’m getting excited for the gala, the LinkShare Symposium and the chance to meet LinkShare’s new co-presidents.

Congrats Lisa and Revenue! If I hear you say “Sorry Jangro” I’ll be sure to take a drink….keeping in last years theme of the MVA award and drinking.

My fellow finalists, Revenue Magazine and Scott Jangro, surely deserve to win this one. I think it should be a tie between those guys. While I’m definitively *vocal* and I’ve been in the space for 10 years, my evangelistic efforts pale in comparison to the likes of Lisa Picarille and Scott Jangro. I feel pretty darn lucky to be listed among such distinguished nominees. Kellie Stevens of AffiliateFairPlay (last year’s recipient), will be passing on the crown!
