The last week has been a whirlwind of analysis about mergers and acquisitions in the interactive marketing space.
The biggest news was the Microsoft/Yahoo deal, which was announced at the end of last week. Here’s what some news (The Boston Globe, CNN, the New York Times) outlets are saying about Microhoo!
Then on Tuesday of this week, AOL announced its plans to acquire U.K. affiliate network Buy.at for an undisclosed amount. More from around the blogosphere - Forbes, Reuters, Affiliate Tip.
The GeekCast gang (Sam Harrelson, Shawn Collins, Jim Kukral and myself) discussed both deals on episode 4 the podcast. Check it out.
What companies will be next to hook up? Let me know what you think.

Microsoft wanting to aquire Yahoo is too little too late. Microsoft has trapped itself in it’s own cocoon and can’t see out any longer. - Google on the other hand thinks outside the box and is contiuonsly reiventing its self.

Hewlet/Packard has made a good move in buying EDS, of Plano, TX. The price was excellent, in fact it might have been a bargain. Anyway good luck to both firms and it’s employees.

I am just wondering: The USA has spent billions and billions of dollars on Iraq.
Why can’t the US buy oil solely through Iraq.
After all, we the USA have done a lot for the people of Iraq.
