I have a full plate this week, so let’s get right to it.
The LinkShare Summit is being held later this week in San Francisco. I love when the performance marketing folks converge on my home turf. Too bad, the weather is not cooperating. Oh well, I still expect the event to be packed with good information, have the chance to strengthen old relationships, make some great new connections and have lots of dinner and drinks with a great group of folks.
I’ll also be sitting down from a one-on-one with LinkShare President Steve Denton and expect to share some of his thoughts with you from our discussion first thing next week (once I’ve recovered from all the schmoozing).
Meanwhile, there is plenty to do before I head to the event. You may have noticed that our email newsletter is now weekly instead of monthly. We’ll be cranking that out again this week (look for it every Thursday) for your reading pleasure. If you haven’t already signed up, you can do so here.
And last week the GeekCast gang of Sam Harrelson, Jim Kukral, and Shawn Collins were kind enough to invite me to participate in the second installment of their lively podcast. The show was a good one and they’ve been kind enough to ask me back again this week. For some reason, I feel like I did when I was 9 years old and was the only girl allowed to play street hockey with all the neighborhood boys.
We’re going to be taping the show today at 3pm (EST). I’m not sure when it will be up for public consumption but it if you subscribe the RSS feed you won’t miss episode 3 or any future show.
Shawn and I also have our weekly Affiliate Thing podcast. That show airs every Wednesday at Noon (EST) on WebMasterRadio.FM.
And don’t forget that the affiliate auctions I mentioned in one of last week’s blog entries are now live on eBay. You can bid to have dinner with a super affiliate at Affiliate Summit in Vegas.
Onward!
