Affiliates are very charitable bunch. Over the past several years online marketers have joined together to support a variety of very worthwhile causes .

At every Affiliate Summit a charity is selected and co-founders Shawn Collins and Missy Ward come up with a fun way to raise money. The upcoming Affiliate Summit West to be held in Las Vegas at the end of February is no exception. This time around attendees can participate in The Great Affiliate Road Rally. I wonder if this is where Shawn and Missy got their inspiration.?

The remote control car race will take place at the show on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. The $100 entry fee for the Great Affiliate Road Rally will be donated directly to the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation. The winner of the race will be awarded a 10′ x 10′ exhibit hall booth (value: $4,995) for Affiliate Summit 2008 East in Boston, taking place August 10-12, 2008.

Many online marketers also participate in local charity events. The team from Miami-based Andy Rodriguez Consulting is going to be a part of the Kidney Walk in February. It’s a great cause. Find out more about the Kidney Foundation of Florida, make a donation and track ARC’s fundraising progress.
