Making Online Buyers Feel Warm and Fuzzy

December 26th, 2007

Revenue’s November/December cover story was about search alternatives. Senior Writer Alex Wharton opened the article with an anecdote about someone cruising around on Digg.com and stumbling upon popular story about “the Slanket” and then purchasing the item.

Alex did a great job of illustrating how people can serendipitously “find” things they want when they weren’t even looking for them. I highly recommend you read the story.

December 20th, 2007

Early Thursday morning The Federal Trade Commission, by a 4-1 vote, said it will not seek to block DoubleClick’s 3.1 billion acquisition of search giant Google.

I’ll pretty much quickly handle whatever is sent my way – provided I can understand the question.

December 10th, 2007

This is for all the people out there that provide me with endless hours of insight, status updates and humorous comments. You know who you are – Twitterers, bloggers, vloggers, and Facebook status updaters.

While I enjoy feeling a deeper connection to you and in some ways wish that I had the time and the fortitude to participate even more in sharing via all the emerging social media platforms, I definitely feel the need too hold back.

I’ve been wanting to do more video, but I’ve been working from home for the last two weeks. I decided to bite the bullet and post someting anyway. I figured that since I previously posted a tour of my office at Revenue that I would put one up of the home office (okay kitchen). Enjoy!

Missing PubCon

December 4th, 2007

I’m very disappointed not to be attending PubCon in Las Vegas this week. Due to a family thing that came up at the last minute, I had to cancel the trip. This was going to be my first PubCon, which everyone had warned me is a blast as well as a great place to network and gather new information.
