Online marketing consultant Jim Kukral has released the public beta of his ScratchBack application. It’s a widget that enables people to support their favorite blogs by giving tips to them. Sort of like a bloggers tip jar that can be customized to fit the look of the blog site. Payments are made via PayPal.
Jim’s been working on SB for a while and his idea is to bring the fun back into blogging and online marketing. For affiliates, the widget can also be used to drop affiliate links on the site of anyone that approves your tip. There is a ScratchBack blog where Jim details other opportunities for affiliates using the widget.
A couple of other beta testers, including Sam Harrelson and Shawn Collins also liked the application and made a couple of nifty suggestions.
I usually avoid discussions about religion for the obvious reasons, but I read this story in today’s San Francisco Chronicle online and thought that I might like to use ScratchBack to tip Sister Anne Flanagan.

Scratchback is cool. You might be interested to know there is a similar widget available at www.bringabuddy.net. It allows for link sales as well as rewarding visitors for referrals…
Check it out..
