Lots going on this week. Merger and acquisitions continue to dominate the news as LinkShare announced it will acquire Traffic Strategies.com, a PPC marketing and lead generation business.

Things are likely to get heated up on the week’s Affiliate Thing podcast. Our guest will be Mark William Wielgus of 45n5.com. Recently, Mark has blogged about his opinion of what is acceptable in affiliate marketing. Some folks (including my co-host Shawn Collins, blogger Jim Kukral and Sam Harrelson of AffiliateFortuneCookie.com) have staunchly opposing views. So, this should be a very interesting show. I have a feeling that I’ll just be sitting back and refereeing the podcast.
