Day two of Ad:Tech and I’m still alive – barely. This has been a tough week here in the Internet Aquarium. I have met with so many people, attended lots of sessions and walked the floors a little bit. It’s all a crowded, buzzing haze of excitement.
My Affiliate Thing co-host Shawn Collins and I did the podcast today live from the show floor. That was a new experience. Shawn and I are never on the same room (or the even the same state) for the show. I’m used to IM’ing him when we are going to break and cueing each other to speak not just looking at him to get a visual cue.
Anyway, today’s guest was Lisa Riolo. She’s a former executive at Commission Junction who is now doing some interesting consulting work. And she’ll be reprising her role as the emcee of Affiliate Summit at the event in Miami in July. Be sure to check out the great interview with Lisa. She offers some insightful comments.
Also, I want to give a big shout out to our producer Eddie Machado from WebMasterRadio.FM. He did a great job keeping Shawn and I on track, which was not easy since the broadcast was done from the Affiliate Summit booth and they had just tapped a keg of beer.
