The May/June issue of Revenue is going to the printer today so no time for sleep or anything else let alone blogging. So this will be short and sweet with some random things that I think might be of interest to you. Actually, they are not so random - the common theme is Shawn Collins. For some reason after hearing his rendition of the Big Mouth Strikes Again by the Smiths I was mesmerized or something like that. Anywhoo…
*If you’re an affiliate and wondering how to use video check out Shawn Collins’ new site dedicated to this very topic.
*Lots of online marketers are coming to San Francisco for Ad:Tech in less than two weeks. A bunch of us are getting together and we’re thinking about Tuesday night. If you’re up for having a drink with me, Shawn Collins, Missy Ward, Brian Littleton and other fun folks, let me know and I’ll add you to the email that I send out with details about the time and place.
*And if you’re going to Ad:Tech be sure to check out my panel on Thursday, April 26 at 2:45pm. It’s going to be a great discussion. And yes, Shawn is on the panel.
*Check out this week’s Affiliate Thing podcast on WebMasterRadio.FM. My co-host (you got it. It’s Shawn) and I interviewed Tara Hunt, Co-Founder & Chief Trouble Maker of Citizen Agency, to discuss Pinko Marketing, why PR does not work, the importance of relationship building, and more. Listen to this episode now.
*Next week our guest on Affiliate Thing will be UK affiliate marketing maven Jess Luthi. BTW: She is working with the Affiliate Summit organizers, Shawn Collins and Missy Ward, to host the event in London in September. You can listen to the Affiliate Thing weekly on Wednesdays at noon EST. Tune in at WebMasterRadio. If you’d like to call in to the Affiliate Thing show, dial up 866-345-6631 between 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm EST on Wednesdays.
Let me know what’s up in your world.
