It was great having a three-day weekend. I did my best to honor several dead presidents (Happy Birthday George and Abe) by spending lots of ones and fives whenever I could.

I was pretty much sick all week. I was down for the count with some nasty cold that I just couldn’t shake. It looks like I missed a bunch of interesting performance marketing news while I was sniffling, sneezing and coughing. Just in case you’ve forgotten, Affiliate Summit co-founder Shawn Collins and I have a weekly 30-minute podcast. It’s called the Affiliate Thing and can be heard live at noon (EST) each Wednesday on BlogTalkRadio.

We started back in December and so far there have been nine shows. We typically talk about timely affiliate-related topics, have a little fun, and do an interview with someone in the industry. So far, there have been a lot of great people on the show including Todd Crawford, Scott Hazard, Gene Kavner, Holly Preuss, Sam Harrelson, Wendy Shepherd and more.
